Student Collaborations
Let’s Work Together
I mentor students in several ways ranging from an independent study, directed readings, research through SURF and PURS, to the Honor’s thesis. My broad base of experience and knowledge allows me to work with students on a variety of research interests. For example, in the health field, I have collaborated with students on improving the system of organ donations, the impacts of drug exclusivity on prescription drug pricing, and analyzing state and federal disability policy. In immigration, I have worked with students on research focused on the immigration experience, the development of LGBGT+ in immigration admissions policy, Asian American political participation, and the effect of constituent attitudes on immigration on legislative behavior. In architecture, I collaborated on the impact of gentrification on Houston communications and in communications, on corporate responsibility and LGBTQ+ Pride Advertising.
